Composition:
Each soft gelatin vaginal suppository contains:
Clindamycin Phosphate USP
equivalent to Clindamycin …………………………100 mg
Clotrimazole IP ………………………………… 200 mg
INDICATIONS
Trichomoniasis.
Bacterial vaginosis.
Candidiasis.
Mixed vaginal infections.
Infective leucorrhoea.
Vaginitis.
Infertility due to vaginal infections
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Insert one vaginal suppository consecutively for three nights.
Wash hands before using. Remain lying down for 30 minutes following administration. Avoid intercourse during therapy (sexual partner may experience penile burning or itching). Report adverse reactions (eg, vulvar itching, frequent urination), worsening of condition, or lack of response to therapy.
Adverse Reactions;
Local irritation and burning are minor side effects.
Contraindications:
Although no teratogenic effects have been reported, usage during first trimester of pregnancy is not advocated as with other drugs.
Hypersensitivity.
Tolerance:
Anca-V Softgel Ovules are well tolerated locally.
