Each enteric coated tablet contains:

DICLOZYME  Tablet three times daily  (tid)


The mechanism of action of Seartiopeptidase appears to be hydrolysis of histamine, bradykinin
and serotonin, and a proteolytic and fibrinolytic effect. Primarily this is achieved by dissolving
the complement (specific proteins responsible for inflammation) and increasing the plasmin
activity by inhibiting the plasmin  inactivators

Diclofenac potasium
Diclofenac has potent anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic actions. It inhibits the
enzyme, cyclooxygenase, thus resulting in reduced synthesis of prostaglandin precursors.

Adverse effects -:

Adverse effects are generally mild.  They may include epigastric pain, nausea, headache, dizziness & rashes. Gastric ulceration & bleeding are less common.
Reversible elevation of serum aminotransferase can occur kidney damage in rare.


Active Peptic ulcer.
Hypersensitivity to Diclofinac or other NSAID S.

Interactions -:

It increases Blood levels of Lithium & Digoxin.
It increases toxicity of methoprexate.
It potentiates potassium sparing diuretics but inhibits other diuretics.
It s anti-platelet action increases the risk of  bleeding in patients on oral anticoagulants

Special precaution

History of GI ulceration, asthma, porphyria. Monitor LFTs in patients on prolonged therapy. May prolong bleeding time; caution when used in patients with coagulation disorders or on
anticoagulants. Prolonged therapy may increase risk of anemia.

Hypersensitivity to Drug
Bleeding disorders
